A Captain for Caroline Gray.

The blurb for this book is wonderful, but rather long. If you’re interested, you can find it here!

My Thoughts:

It took a little while for me to get into the story, but once I was in, I couldn’t quit it. I had so many questions! It could only end the way I wanted it to, right? Things had to play out the way I expected.

AHEM. They did not always play out the way I expected, which was the right amount of frustrating because it kept me on my toes.

Caroline and Thomas are a bit like Elizabeth and Darcy–infuriating when they insist on making things difficult, but so lovely when they aren’t making a mess of things. Bless their hearts. You can’t help but root for them even when they’re being ridiculous.

The emotions are high, the stakes feel impossible, and the sparks fly off the page. Fans of historical romances who don’t mind a rocky road to the end will enjoy this one. It’s available now!

I received a complimentary copy of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. All expressed opinions belong to me.

Purchase: Amazon | Barnes & Noble

Book Boyfriend:

Thomas Scott. Though he was infuriatingly stubborn at times, he was also sweet. And when he was bliss itself? Adorable. He isn’t perfect by any means, but he’s certainly lovable.
