I just loved this one too much to even talk about it properly, okay?
The emotions and the romance and the swoon and the characters . . . I just can’t quit it. I finished days ago, but Cody, Lou, and Maggie still sneak into my thoughts on the daily. What a beautiful story of forgiveness, of how messy and grace-filled and freeing it can be to move on and grow.
This was my first experience with a Courtney Walsh novel, but I genuinely loved it. Cody and Lou were infuriating at times, but they were working through so much and seemingly had so much stacked against them. I loved their journeys, both individually and together. Lou was especially fun for me because she’s a lot like me–she just wants to love on everyone, fix everyone’s brokenness, and she makes up words when she feels an appropriate word simply hasn’t been invented yet. And I loved Maggie! Her role in the story was so fun, but also heartfelt.
This book also made me want to go to Nantucket, like, now. What a lovely setting! If you’re a fan of emotional romances, you certainly don’t want to miss this one. Fans of Denise Hunter will especially enjoy this author as she has a similar voice. Is It Any Wonder is available now.
I received a complimentary copy of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. All expressed opinions belong to me.

Cody. My goodness. He’s a tough cookie to crack, but once you get to his buttery soft center, your heart will simply give itself over. No questions asked. He’s strong and hurting and in desperate need of a couple thousand hugs, but his heart is set on Louisa and what’s more attractive than a loyal heart?
